The Reducing Household Waste by Utilizing Used Cooking Oil into Soap for Housewives in Pontianak City

Housewives (IRT) in the family have a very active role their families. Used cooking oil or used is waste left over from activities carried out by housewives. So far, has never been to make other materials, and generally just thrown away so that time it will damage environment around us. This community service aims utilize into items can be reused use value. The training on using soap was developed among housewives Pontianak city, especially Akcaya Village, South District, expected applied IRT no longer wasted material, but become material used. produced alone later also traded increase income.
 Abstrak
 Ibu-ibu Rumah Tangga di dalam keluarga punya peran yang sangat aktif keluarganya. Minyak goreng bekas atau minyak jelantah adalah limbah tersisa dari aktifitas memasak dilakukan oleh para ibu rumah tangga. selama ini belum pernah dimanfaatkan menjadi bahan lain, dan umumnya hanya dibuang saja sehingga lama kelamaan akan merusak lingkungan sekitar kita. Pengabdian pada masyarakat bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan barang dapat digunakan kembali serta mempunyai nilai guna. Pelatihan pemanfaatan sabun dikembangkan kalangan tangga kota khususnya Kelurahan Akcaya, Kecamatan Selatan diharapkan diaplikasikan tidak lagi terbuang, melainkan digunakan. Sabun dihasilkan dipergunakan sendiri nantinya pula diperjualbelikan menambah pendapatan keluarga.
